Aligned with the common nerd, I spent my childhood reading (the one thing I can say with confidence that I am very experienced in) and eventually took up writing. When it came time at the ripe age of 18 for me to decide what I was going to do with the rest of my life I decided to stick with what I knew and got a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Literature. College is where I first started my love affair with learning. To say my mind had been opened for the first time would be an understatement. It set my brain aflame and installed a passion for knowledge. Luckily, I was able to attend law school where I was also able to get a MBA. I know, all this education might sound over the top and pretentious, but you have to understand that to a lonely girl from a small town, learning about the world was in many ways lifesaving.
I always try to give my honest opinion and hope that my deliverance is at least tactful. It’s hard with Indie publishing because on one hand you don’t want to hurt anyone’s sales and on the other, art should be discussed freely and openly. As I’ve progressed in my reviewing I’ve found that this approach takes a balance which I am still learning how to be graceful in executing.
